You have a point, it's hard to say if he's the most left candidate, he seems to always just vote PRESENT.
If we judge him based on that, maybe we shouldn't lump him in with the rest of the Democratic congress, the one with the WORST APPROVAL RATING EVER.

Again, where do you get your information?

Despite a short track record -- or maybe even because of it -- Obama is a far more steady in his personality with flashes of inspiration. What more than this can you ask, when the opposition has such a horrible record, lies continually, and flip flops like mad.

We're electing a coalition not just a figurehead, and at that we'll have to guard Social Security from the raiders. Obama choices of advisors is middle of the road(kill) but the other team is downright wacky.

Just consider that someone with SO much experience like McCain -- in financial scandals at that -- claims just hours before a nice crash that the fundamentals of the economy are strong. He even has a article out proposing to do to health care what they've done with Wall Street.

That's plain crazy.
